TSHD 2.2 - 3.0 Settings

Question:

Why don't some of my Tele-Support HelpDesk 2.2 settings transfer to Tele-Support HelpDesk 3.0?

 

Answer:

Since Tele-Support HelpDesk 3.0 consists of an entirely different data-access architecture than was present in Tele-Support HelpDesk 2.2, some of the settings from 2.2 either do not apply or were not automatically brought over during the database conversion to 3.0.  The following is a list of settings that are not ported from version 2.2 to 3.0:

 

  • Contact Activities
  • Current Queue Refresh Rate
  • Contract Tracking/Time File
  • RMA
  • Captions (e.g. Inquiry View Tabs)
  • Contact Manager/Contact Manager Field Mappings
  • Inquiry Queue Views
