Question:
Why don't some of my Tele-Support HelpDesk 2.2 settings transfer to Tele-Support HelpDesk 3.0?
Answer:
Since Tele-Support HelpDesk 3.0 consists of an entirely different data-access architecture than was present in Tele-Support HelpDesk 2.2, some of the settings from 2.2 either do not apply or were not automatically brought over during the database conversion to 3.0. The following is a list of settings that are not ported from version 2.2 to 3.0:
- Contact Activities
- Current Queue Refresh Rate
- Contract Tracking/Time File
- RMA
- Captions (e.g. Inquiry View Tabs)
- Contact Manager/Contact Manager Field Mappings
- Inquiry Queue Views
