Question:

Helpdesk compatibility with Windows XP.

Answer:

Right-click on desktop and select Properties.  Select the Compatibility tab.  Select the "Disable visual themes" checkbox.

Make sure you have applied all the latest Window Drivers and Updates, including MDAC.

When installing HelpDesk to an XP workstation where you have multiple user profiles, you MUST install the client as the XP Administrator.  Other users will be able to access HelpDesk, down to lowest level security, such as guest user.
