Timer displays as ACTIVE

Question:

From the Open Inquiry Screen, the Timer is being displayed as ACTIVE?

 

Answer:

Indicates the workstation is running with Terminal Service Mode enabled.  To disable, you need to click on START - RUN - REGEDIT - locate the following registry keys and remove values relating to "terminalservices".

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Resource-Dynamics\HelpDesk 2.0 and/or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Resource-Dynamics\HelpDesk 2.2

 

IMPORTANT modifing registry keys WILL impact how applications run.  If you are not familar with this area, please locate someone in your company who has full knowledge.  Resource Dynamics is not responsible for damages that may be caused by editing registry keys.
