Auto User Start Up

Question:

I installed my HDClient into a standard windows application directory and when I added the pre-loaded user name, it displays Files\HelpDesk\Helpdesk2.exe.  I have to delete the data and enter manually my user name.

Answer:

As stated in the User's Guide, Chapter 2, Page 5, the user can place his username in the shortcut target field to "pre-load" it in the login screen. This will -only- work if the user installs the client to a directory path that contains no spaces, such as the default c:\helpdesk.  If the client is installed into the standard Windows application directory C:\Program Files\Helpdesk\

Then the  pre-loaded username becomes  FILES\HELPDESK\HELPDESK2.EXE".

Everything after the space in "Program files" is treated as the username
