Backup upgrade from 2.2 to 2.1 Question: Reverting an incomplete 2.2 server upgrade to a 2.1 server configuration so that the patch can be executed again.
Answer: From within the 'server' subdirectory under the HelpDesk server installation directory:
1. Delete the current 'reports' directory and rename the older reports directory to 'reports' 2. Rename the current 'HelpDesk.mdb' file and rename the backup mdb file to 'HelpDesk.mdb' 3. Run the hd22upgrade.exe (place this file in the server directory, but only execute it from a computer that has a HelpDesk 2.1 client installation on it). |
