How to Schedule Activities from HD to GM

Question:

How do I set schedule activities from HelpDesk to our GoldMine Calendars?

 

Answer:

Currently you can not directly add scheduled activities to your GoldMine Calendar.  However, here is a Tip Trick that will work..

 

1.  Create an inquiry in TeleSupport HelpDesk

2.  Go to the contact record in GoldMine, right click & select properties either from the Pending or Calendar and now should have a dialogue box "Next Action".  You are now 100% in GoldMine and can make changes as you see fit.

 

Note...The ONLY thing you can't do at this point is change the notes.  Any notes you add, will be overwritten by TeleSupport HelpDesk.  You can not write notes from GoldMine to the inquiry.  If you need to add notes for this inquiry, you need to go back to TeleSupport HelpDesk, open the inquiry and add your notes.
