Question:
How can I search my Email address in ACT! using User Defined 1 or 2 fields?
Answer:
You can not search on Email address. The contact manager interface does not allow third party application's access to this field.
Work Around:
Suggestion...Create a calculated field in ACT! that contains the domain part of the email and then map the calculated field into user defined 1 or 2 for searching. Example: Email address is test@example.com, create a calculated field to pull only @example.com. Then when in HelpDesk, you can search @example.com.
