How to export records from an Access Database

Question:

How can I export portions of my Microsoft Access database?

 

Answer:

 

Exporting a Table

  • Select the table that you would like to export records from
  • Select "File" and then "Export"
  • In the "Save as type" drop down list, select the format that you would like to export to (some formats may require additional steps)
  • Select the "File name" to where you would like to save the records
  • Select "Save All"

 

Exporting Selected Records from a Table

  • Highlight the records that you would like to export
  • Select "File" and then "Export"
  • In the "Save as type" drop down list, select the format that you would like to export to (some formats may require additional steps)
  • Select the "File name" to where you would like to save the records
  • Select the down arrow button that is located next to the "Save All" button
  • Select the "Save Selection" option
