Terminal Server vs Terminal Services

Question:

What is the difference between Terminal Server vs. Terminal Services:

Answer:

No difference between the two.  It's semantics. Terminal Server comes from when Micosoft had two products Windows NT4.0 and Windows NT4.0 Terminal Server to all intents and purpose the same product with an addon Windows 2000 is the same product in both form with or without Terminal Services turned on.

The correct description when using Windows 2000 running Terminal Services.  The correct description when using NT is Terminal Server.
