Disk or Network Error

Problem:

Getting a Disk or Network error.

 

Solutions:

Make sure connection from Tele-Support HelpDesk to your server, where helpdesk.mdb or helpdesk3.mdb is located, is using a mapped drive letter and not UNC.  All workstations must use the same mapped drive letter to avoide conflict.  

 

If running version 3.0...check the UDL file for HDConfig or TSHD3 to make sure you are pointing to the correct mapped server.  

 

Check your ODBC data source - HelpDesk - if using UNC you need to change to the mapped drive you assigned.

 

If using a Mapped Drive already, then suggest you unmap your network and remap. 

 

The error indicates that the application can no longer see the network.
