ACT! License Count How ACT! counts user license:
ACT! 2000 will only allow 2 connections per User license to a database. Each user MUST have their own licensed serial number. HelpDesk requires a valid ACT! user license to connect to the database.
1 ACT! user license - 2 connections to database permitted 2 ACT! user license - 4 connections to database permitted (2 connections per license) etc..

ACT!6 each user is required to have a local copy of ACT! installed. When you log into HelpDesk, you also log into your ACT! database, this WILL count as one license for ACT!.
