Answer:

1. Click on Start - Run and enter "regedit"

2. Browse the registry to HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Resource-Dynamics\HelpDesk 2.0

3. Verify the settings for the LocalDir and ServerDir keys. 

    LocalDir is the location of the HelpDesk files on the local machine. 

    ServerDir is the location of the HelpDesk.mdb on the server

    (typically x:\Program Files\HelpDesk2.0\Server.)

Note:  UNC Path names have been known to cause problems.  You must use a mapped network drive letter to the HelpDesk.mdb.
