GM non US Date Format

Question:

How to I configure TeleSupport HelpDesk to use a different date format with GoldMine.

 

Answer:

Tele-Support HelpDesk, when used with GoldMine, can now support a different (non US) date format.  If you are experiencing problems adding notes to GoldMine from within HelpDesk, or the date display in GoldMine is blank for any items added by HelpDesk, follow the instructions below:

 

Create a file called HDGMDATE.INI in the HelpDesk server directory, this file should look like the following:

 

[HelpDesk]

GMDateFormat=dd/mm/yy

 

Change the GMDateFormat to whatever region format settings your system is using.  The above example should work for European countries.

 

NOTE:  This requires Tele-Support HelpDesk version 2.0 build 2373 or later.
